Building Africa film screenings in South Africa

The ASA documentary film, Building Africa, will be shown in two special screenings at the Bioscope Cinema in Johannesburg and the Soweto Theatre this August.

The film documents five stories from the ASA project, told by citizens, about public buildings in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana, the DRC and Ethiopia.

The screenings will be followed by a Q&A session with one of the film makers, Julia Gallagher.

Both events are open to the public and free.

Building Africa screening at the Bioscope Cinema, 44 Stanley Ave, Johannesburg, 2092 at 18.00 on Wednesday 28 August.

Building Africa screening at the Soweto Theatre, Cnr. Bolani Rd and Bolani Link, Jabulani, Soweto (next to the Jabulani Mall) at 15.00 on Thursday 29 August.

Building Africa is an ASA production, made by Julia Gallagher and Sunil Pun, with Innocent Batsani-Ncube, Kuukuwa Manful, Joanne Tomkinson and Daniel Mulugeta.
