Bulawayo City Hall

Submission by Innocent Batsani Ncube

One of my favourite buildings is the Bulawayo City Hall. I like it because it embodies the diversity and multi-cultural spirit of my home city. The building’s majestic beauty, its surrounding well-manicured lawns and benches makes it the meeting point of choice for Bulawayo residents and visitors, young and old, rich and poor. Moreso, its two plenary chambers facilitate the city’s democracy ethos and cultural richness through hosting public meetings and art events.
