ASA has recently become affiliated with the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana. The relationship will enable mutual support and exchange between members of the team conducting research in Ghana and the faculty of the Institute.
Professor Tsikata, Director of the Institute, said: ‘We are pleased with this development in our relationship with SOAS, which we hope will open up opportunities for both institutions.’
Kuukuwa Manful, Joanne Tomkinson and Julia Gallagher will all be carrying out fieldwork in Ghana as part of the ASA project.
