Public Lecture: Nation-building: a cloudy view of the past





ASA is hosting a public lecture exploring the relationship between politics and architecture in Africa, in partnership with the Graduate School of Architecture, University of Johannesburg. The event is free and open to all.


Speakers: Mphethi Morojele, South African architect, Julia Gallagher, Professor of African Politics at SOAS, University of London and António Tomás, Associate Professor/Programme Convener at the Graduate School of Architecture, University of Johannesburg.


Talks will be followed by a drinks reception.


Date/Time: Tuesday 3 December, 18.00-20.30


Venue: FADA Auditorium, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, University of Johannesburg, Bunting Road Campus


Secure parking is provided in the FADA parking lot opposite the Gas Works on Annet/Bunting
